The South Island Primary Schools Tournament has been concluded and was run at a great success. A great deal of thanks goes to all grounds used, Molyneux Park, Dunstan High School, Omakau, Poolburn, Naseby, Gimmerburn, Cromwell, Luggate and Pembroke Park.

It is hoped that this is the start of a long and beneficial relationship with HRV and Otago Country Cricket Association.

The Otago Country Team were one game away from being crowned champions, but ended the Tournament in a well deserved third place and winners of the Fair Play Trophy as voted on by the Umpires
Congratulations to the winners, Nelson. We wish Ashburton and Mid Canterbury all the best for next years tournament.
We now have a 14 year break before we do it all again!
